[Animals] Density through Circles

This is a pre-cross hatching exercise. I had found while student-artists are able to cross-hatched, only a handful are sensitive to the gradient of tones, many are not able to clearly gage the subtle different. And what's more, cross-hatching is tiring.

Hence I decided to employ circles to execute a project on Density. Each class was given an photograph of an animal to observe and draw. Then as a class, we go through the circles with the following guide with three sets of circles
1. Small and many circles = Dark areas
2. Large and few circles = Light areas
3. Medium circles = In between

I am so excited about the results to push through another set of projects with similar learning points.
